Blogs I Like

Aly Monroe Aly Monroe is an author of interesting and intriguing thrillers set in the years following the Second World War. This is her official blog.

Bright Cecilia Journal The blog of the community at the Bright Cecilia music forums for composers, performers, amateurs, instrument makers, scholars, students, publishers & those simply interested in good music.

Different Star Different Star is a collective of Cambridge writers which includes my hugely talented wife, Anne Lyle in its members. Between them, they manage to produce books and short stories in genres including science fiction, fantasy and horror without playing up to any inherent stereotypes.

Jack of Kent A legal and political blog which I first noticed during the Battle of Trafigura in October, 2009.

The Fudgeblog Al Terry (aka Fudgecrumpet) is one of the funniest Twitterers I follow and I love the Fudgeblog to bits.

Pluto Press One of my clients and perhaps to be expected, but always readable and informative.

Policy Press Another of my clients. I promise it's not just marketing fluff. I wouldn't lie to you, really I wouldn't.

Remittance Girl In days gone by, I used to read a bit of erotica from time to time. I wish it had been as beautifully written as this. Sometimes, it's not at all suitable for work.

Superfood I met this man in my final summer at university and made the mistake of introducing him to my sister. They're now married. Richard writes about food with the same skill and panache as he cooks. Highly recommended.
